Miami Social…. Not as hot as they think
I am disgusted by the way that Ariel speaks about people he considers unattractive. He should look in a mirror that works. He comes off as shallow and immature. The people in this show are not likeable or interesting to watch. Compared to other Bravo shows, I find this show boring. Maybe it will improve in the next few episodes because so far it seems to be a total failure.

What did Danielle do to Dina on The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
My post is a bit late, but I am really irritated with the Reunion Show. Why even raise an issue if it is not going to be discussed? The women on the Real Housewives of New Jersey have agreed to participate in this show. Yes, I enjoyed the show for the most part, but for Caroline to bring up controversy and then choose not to discuss it is basically a disservice to viewers. I think the truth should be discussed and viewers should not be in this position. What a disappointment! I blame Bravo, as well. If the truth was not going to be brought out, this portion of the reunion should not have been shown on air. I think it is an unfortunate way to end the season and really do not have much to say about the reunion due to this issue. Will they be back for another season? I don’t know and after this catastrophe, I am not sure I even care.

Real Housewives of NJ: Table Flipping, Gossip, and Honesty?
I can understand Teresa getting angry about Danielle insinuating that she is an airhead, but to flip the table? That was a bit much. She has a tremendous temper. I think she was also disappointed that Danielle ruined the dinner party. I can’t blame her for that. Danielle could have chosen a better time to confront them. However, it made for a great show.
I really do not care for Dina. She is obviously a two-faced liar. Caroline was just trying to cover for her. Dina and Caroline are quite a bit alike. I really feel sorry for Jacqueline. I hope the two sisters are not being too rough on her.
I was disturbed by Jacqueline’s daughter’s behavior when they revealed the car. She did not even hug her mother, yet she hugged her step-father. Again, living in this family seems to be a nightmare.
Teresa and her sexual talk at the table was too much information for me. Although, it was funny when Joe was attempting to eat the oysters and made comments about it. I also think that Jacqueline’s husband, Chris seems like a decent person. Well, decent for this group, anyway. I really do not know what to think about the rest of them. I am looking forward to the reunion special. Things will be boring until the next season. This group of housewives made for exciting television. Until next time…

Real Housewives of NJ: Photographers, Atlantic City, Implants, and Breakups
This Tuesday’s episode was not as exciting as last week’s show, but I watched anyway. Jacqueline irritated me during the photo shoot with her daughter. I think that her daughter is insecure like many teens. Jacqueline could have been more understanding. The girl was not trying to be rude to the photographer, but she is insecure. Her mother should have known better. No, her daughter was not going to admit her feelings in front of strangers, and Jacqueline should have kept her mouth shut. It was unnecessary to keep pointing out how she should behave in front of the camera. It was sad when her daughter was crying and Jacqueline showed no emotion, other than irritation. It is not surprising that her daughter is emotionally upset and doing poorly in school. I do not care for Jacqueline. She is not innocent as she attempts to portray and I do not trust her.
The trip to
Caroline did not offer much during this episode. However, I enjoyed the scene that included the family exercising with the personal trainer. It is true that if they are able to afford this luxury, they should take advantage of it. I am sure many people would love this opportunity. I know I would love to have a gym and have a personal trainer come to my home.
I am glad Danielle broke up with the 26 year old. She needs to stay away from children and I believe he was using her anyway. I have mixed feelings about Danielle. At times I feel sorry for her and at other times I think she is a con artist. It is difficult to discern the truth. The book points in one direction and I wonder how much of the book is accurate.
Teresa and her boobies were a less than interesting part of the show. I do not understand this way of thinking. This has never been one of my problems and I wish I had a smaller chest. So, I cannot empathize. If she is happier, I guess it is okay. I just wonder what messages she is sending to her daughters. First, she is so concerned about getting her daughter into pageants, modeling, and television. Now, she is worried about her chest size. Then, she is decorating her home with outrageously priced furniture. Finally, she carts along 30 outfits for a two day trip. I guess we know where her priorities are. “Happy wife = happy life.” Happiness obviously only comes about if you have money and looks. This is not such a great message for three little girls.
Well, I do not have much more to say about this episode. I am looking forward to next week’s show and the reunion. Hopefully, the content will be more exciting. I am curious to know why the table is turned over. Until next week…

Real Housewives of New Jersey
Finally! This was the best episode yet. Yes, I’m still waiting for the turned over table scene, but this was pretty good. During the first few episodes I actually felt sorry for Danielle, but not so much anymore. Her reaction/answers to Jacqueline’s questions about the book, Cop Without a Badge, were evasive. She was avoiding the main questions, pouring Jacqueline drinks and telling her to “trust her feelings.” Translation: forget the facts and just listen to my con game. I don’t know what to think about Jacqueline. Is she an airhead or does she enjoy these games? I have never trusted “nicey nice” people, so I do not expect much from her either. She seems a bit phony.
Caroline and Dina are not so trustworthy either. In fact, I am more afraid of them than of Danielle. Dina is conniving and Caroline is the scary head of “the family.” With their background, one would think that they would not spend their time investigating others. Teresa appears innocent and to be interested in taking care of her girls and decorating her new home. However, it is noted that everything is paid for in cash. You never really know.
The dancing scene with Danielle and Albie was a bit bizarre. Danielle obviously has no respect for Caroline and her family. She may have even played it up to annoy Caroline, which is not surprising. I do not think she should have done this. Albie is young and she should really leave him out of their feud. If she has the hots for him, she needs to look in the mirror. I do not think an attractive guy his age would be interested in someone like Danielle. This is pathetic. Steve is another story. His choices are probably limited.
Teresa’s husband showed his ignorance with the gay slurs. This is one area where Danielle is correct. This shows how low class some of these people are, regardless of the amount of money they have and the lifestyles they can afford. How sad that Teresa defended him and was more worried about Danielle’s comments.
I think this show is going to get more interesting. I am looking forward to next week’s episode. I am not sure how many episodes are going to be shown this season, so I am wondering when we will see the big fight and the table scene. I am also interested in seeing all of the housewives together at the reunion show. I hope they renew this show for another season. I would love to hear what other people think about the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Until next time…
The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo
I really like Jill Zarin. She is down to earth and acts like a regular person. Yes, she advertises the family business, but in general she appears trustworthy. She is also intelligent and can handle Ramona and her antics. She is the one housewife who can put Ramona in her place, where she belongs. Jill’s daughter Allie also seems like a sweet girl. It is too bad that she has to suffer with arthritis at such a young age. Bobby keeps fairly quiet, but appears to be a decent guy and a good husband and stepfather to Allie.
Ramona, Ramona, Ramona. She leaves me speechless at times. Mario and Ramona are often mean and snobby. I do not care for the two of them. There were a few times this season I wanted to scream while watching the show. I think it is inappropriate to call Simon gay. They have no right to say this. He is a married man with two small children. I wonder if they would like this said about them. Alex and Simon’s boys will get older and probably find out about these comments. How embarrassing for their family. It is uncalled for and low class. I do not care for the way Mario treated Jill during the whole tennis incident. If Jill did not wish to play, get over it and let it go. You should not force people into doing something they don’t want to do. Otherwise, be prepared for the results.
Ramona believes she looks better that she does. She needs an accurate mirror. I am sick of the ridiculous nonsense about how great she looks. Her face is often red and she is far from beautiful. She is an average woman in her fifties. She also treats people with disrespect. There have been several incidents with Luann and Bethenny that were unnecessary. “Rameana” is a perfect name for her.
On the other hand, there are times that I feel sorry for her. I think she is fairly insecure and has issues from dealing with her father. Ramona’s daughter Avery is a typical teen trying to grow up and fit in with others. At times she can be rude, but what teen isn’t?
Moving along to Alex and Simon... These two are social climbers, but so what? They seem to be basically nice people. Yes, they are a little different, but that is what makes the show interesting. I like to see Simon’s outfits. They are unique and sometimes funny. Red leather pants? LOL. I really liked the end of the season with Ramona and Simon dancing. Although she will never admit it, I think she enjoyed it. I also think Simon enjoyed the dance. At times he seems a bit more interested in Ramona than he should, who knows? I could be wrong.
Luann the Countess is next. Oh boy! She is facing a bit of embarrassment because of her wonderful ex the Count. That must have been a slap in the face. I feel a bit bad for her, but it is difficult because she often comes off as snooty and self righteous. I did not like the scene where her teen daughter’s friend asked about cutting up meat and she laughed in the girl’s face. Remember, Countess, it is important to have class. Another wonderful episode, where the countess showed her true colors, was with the young girl who stated she wanted to be a model. Luann couldn’t resist slamming the poor girl about her weight. Remember your manners, Countess Luann. On a more serious note, I feel sorry for Luann’s young son, who is desperately crying out for some attention. He obviously wants to spend time with his mom. Those cries may become more dangerous as he approaches his teen years. Take heed Countess. Maybe it is time to stop focusing on books and focus on your family, or what’s left of it.
Kelly, the model, is next. What a dimwit! The scene with her running down the street in traffic was just absurd. She looked stupid, not cute and not sexy. I am not sure what Bravo was thinking airing this scene. Often, Kelly cannot articulate a sentence. I am not sure if she isn’t paying attention or she just doesn’t understand. She also needs to start acting her age. I guess she does not realize she is in her forties. It is time to grow up. I am not saying that people can’t have fun, but at the same time it is important to remember you have children and act accordingly.
I was also really offended with her attitude toward Bethenny. The remarks she made were uncalled for and hurtful. She needs to come down a notch. If she does not like being friends with other women or interacting with them, she should be taken off of the show. She really doesn’t add anything. Even the drama created by the argument with Bethenny is not enough. She is like a paper doll, white, blank, and boring. Modeling was the right career for her. She really has nothing to contribute other than her looks. Jill and Bethenny were right. She should put a ‘braerr’ on!
Finally, I have to comment about Bethenny. I really liked Bethenny throughout the show. She has great one liner’s and often made intelligent comments that hit the mark. However, my opinion has changed after seeing the picture on TMZ where she is showing her rear. This is a disgusting picture and really lowers her as a person. This was a bad decision and it makes me feel sorry for her. She should have followed her own advice, “Check yourself before you wreck yourself.” I hope Bethenny can recover her reputation after this. I suppose some might find it appealing, but those who had respect for Bethenny before, may change their opinion. It will take some doing for Bethenny to earn my respect again. Others may feel the same way. Well, those are my thoughts about the Real Housewives of NYC for now. I would love to hear from others about this show. I also watch the Real Housewives of New Jersey and will probably write about this show, too. I am looking forward to Tuesday’s episode. I wonder what we will find out about Danielle. Until next time…
